About Us - President's Message

To the Members of the New Mexico Fire Marshal’s Association:
First, thank you for the opportunity to serve as the President for the New Mexico State Fire Marshal’s Association. The New Mexico Fire Marshal’s Association serves as the voice for each Fire Marshal and his or her staff in regards to steps taken to continue to protect each citizen through education, engineering, and enforcement.
The ability for this association to grow and develop begins with each of you. I and each board member have taken on the task to reach out and develop relationships throughout the State of New Mexico with each Fire Prevention Bureau located in this great state. Through these relationships we will cultivate a broad network of members willing to assist and render advice in resolving issues that they may encounter.
We will remain resilient and steadfast in our pursuit of developing and adopting a Fire Code that meets the needs of each jurisdiction. This will be accomplished by effective communication and developing relationships with each of you. Thank you for the confidence and honor you have bestowed upon me and each board member. We look forward to working closely with each you and developing long lasting relationships throughout the State of New Mexico.
